Wavecrest Guest House in Barmouth

Wavecrest is a delightful sea-side Guest House that looks out onto Barmouth's famous sandy beach, and the idyllic North Wales coastline of Cardigan Bay. Walk out of the front door, across the promenade and bury your toes in the sand! Many of the bedrooms enjoy superb views of Barmouth beach and Cardigan Bay, with views to the foothills of Snowdonia to the north and the Cader Idris range to the south.

The Wavecrest Guest House is owned and managed by Chris and Zelanie Hart who have been running the property since 2016. Wavecrest provides a high standard of modern comfort whilst retaining the rich original Victorian character of the house.

Wavecrest provides all that is best about a traditional British Holiday: attentive and unobtrusive service; large, comfortable and well equipped en-suite bedrooms; value for money and a relaxed atmosphere in which to enjoy your stay.

Wavecrest is in an ideal location for those on foot, arriving by bicycle or by public transport. The town-centre, rail and bus stations are all just a short 5 minute level walk away. Arrive by car and you will find plenty of parking (both paid and free), right outside the Guest House.

Knowledge and enthusiasm for this part of the world is obvious from the framed photographs and prints throughout the Guest House, and the wide selection of historical, local interest and walking books available for guests.

Joy David's Choice

"Barmouth attracts it's fair share of visitors, and it certainly knows how to look after them. The bed and breakfast 'Wavecrest' is a family-run guest house with an abundance of Victorian character. There are sea and mountain views, and the owners will happily give you the inside track on where to go."
